Analyzing large data sets has many advantages and disadvantages. Using the city of Leipzig as an example, we are looking for connections between health and our living environment. An interdisciplinary poster presentation.

As part of the ValuGaps project, we are investigating how natural values can be made measurable in order to incorporate them into planning processes. One aspect of this is health values. With the help of large data sets, we are making connections between urban environments and our mental and physical health visible. The strengths and weaknesses of the research method are highlighted and conclusions are drawn for further studies. What is more important: the presence of green spaces or the absence of urban stress such as air pollution or noise? We would like to discuss all these questions with you at our stand and give you an insight into our interdisciplinary approach. Psychology, medicine, ecology or geography - we are looking for answers together.
