The start-up company Biophotonics Diagnostics - a spin-off from the Leibniz Institute of Photonic Technology - demonstrates how Raman spectroscopy can be used to solve challenges in diagnostics, analytics and monitoring and how important data analysis with AI is in this context.
On site at the LNDW, the scientists will use illustrative examples to explain how the Raman effect works and how the scattered light signal can be used as a "molecular fingerprint" using bioinformatic methods.
