Two years before the opening, you’ll get a sneak peek at this innovative exhibition: You’ll have the chance to interact with historical objects yourself, gaining unique insights enhanced by interactive stations on optics and photonics.

Join us this evening for fascinating insights into the development of the D.O.M. and learn more about the exhibition currently under construction. Here, we combine our unique historical collection with interactive elements and invite you to discover and truly understand optical phenomena from science, technology, and everyday life for yourself.

Whether you’re a young or adult explorer—everyone is welcome at our booth. Get to know the LNdW better and let our team explain how we’re bringing together science, technology, and fascinating stories in the new museum. And talk to our provenance research team to learn about current issues surrounding our objects in terms of their acquisition context. You can also purchase Volumes I, II, and the new Volume III of the “Technisches Kulturgut” series for cash that evening.

Take this opportunity to get a glimpse of what awaits you here after the opening in 2028.

We look forward to seeing you!
