A network promoting knowledge for all
Science, business and the city united in a network – that is JenaVersum. JenaVersum stands for the successful implementation of sustainable goals and ideas to strengthen our attractive location for research, living and working.
Founded in November 2021, the JenaVersum network brings together Friedrich Schiller University Jena, the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena, Jena University Hospital, as well as non-university research institutions and foundations in the natural and life sciences, the social sciences and the humanities, partners of the City of Jena, and research-oriented companies in the region.
The focus of JenaVersum’s work is:
- Raising the international profile of the region’s attractive research landscape and attracting talent to the region.
- Strengthening dialogue on key research areas and initiatives, and supporting the coordinated use of existing research infrastructure.
- To foster dialogue between science and society and to jointly develop strategies for the region’s future.
