From deep shafts to high glaciers, from stones, plants and animals to chemistry, electricity, optics and meteorology, the arc of his scientific activities stretches out. How does Goethe conceptualize living nature? In what ways does he try to grasp it? How did he succeed in communicating the results of his research? The lecture and guided tour in the new Goethe Laboratory at the University of Jena seek answers to these questions in direct contact with the audience.
Note
The 40-minute tour takes place at 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00.
