Forensic pathologists and anthropologists use real-world case studies to explain which procedures and methods are currently used in forensic osteology (the study of bones) within forensic medicine, and when they are applied. This is of interest to anyone who wants to fact-check crime series. Exemplary procedures for the morphognostic and metric determination of age and sex, as well as for estimating body height, will be presented and placed in a practical context.
