Children can watch up close as the teddy bear is examined and given anesthesia. During the surgery, they can try their hand at being medical assistants and “help perform the surgery” themselves. And if necessary, the children can also apply a bandage or a splint to the stuffed animal patient. Children are welcome to bring their own stuffed animal. This hands-on activity for children takes place in small groups between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
