Why was it necessary to rethink plant identification in the first place? How do you actually develop and operate an app? Are the identifications even reliable, and what do the data tell us about climate change or the soil’s pH level? The team led by project manager Dr. Jana Wäldchen hopes to answer these and other questions in a presentation. The scientists will provide a “behind-the-scenes” look at the popular plant identification app and will be available for one-on-one conversations afterward from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.
