What exactly does general practice involve—and why is the family doctor’s office the first place many people turn to when they need medical advice?
In our interactive hands-on tour, you’ll experience a day at a family practice—not as a patient, but as a doctor. At various stations, you’ll take on typical general practice tasks: You’ll decide where to refer patients based on their symptoms, measure blood pressure, test your knowledge of antibiotics, and experience the challenges of daily practice and patient care. At the end, you’ll receive an “Explorer” certificate—including a souvenir photo if you’d like.
Come by and discover the diversity, responsibility, and importance of general practice. The scientific and medical team at the Institute of General Practice looks forward to interacting with you!
