Insights into the Diagnosis of Pathogens

At the information booth, microscopes containing various infectious agents will be available, and other interesting materials on parasites will be on display. Guided tours of the Institute of Medical Microbiology’s laboratory will provide a brief insight into the processes involved in bacteriological diagnosis. These tours will take a closer look at topics such as culturing bacteria from patient samples, identifying multidrug-resistant pathogens, and diagnosing sepsis.
