What happens during radiation therapy? How is invisible radiation made visible? Who has the most stamina?

In the breath-holding contest, interested children and adults can test their ability to reach and maintain a breathing position on the CT treatment table with real-time feedback.

Visitors of all ages can come and make mini radiation masks out of malleable material and then decorate them! There are no limits to your creativity!

Throughout the evening, guests can learn about patient positioning and radiation therapy using the phantom on the linear accelerator, as well as take a look behind the scenes at radiation therapy and its equipment!
