Poetry Slam: "How About Living a Human Life?"

Through their own writings, students in the 7th-semester ethics seminar explore the question: What does it mean to live a human life? What does it mean to be human in a digitized world where artificial intelligence accompanies, advises, and educates us? What does it mean when chatbots advise us on how to decorate our homes, or when we let AI decide what to remove from our closets? Or that it reassures us to be advised by AI on existential and psychological matters—even when it comes to decisions concerning life and death. How do we humans differ from android bots that satisfy our current drive for pragmatism and efficiency and suggest to us that they are modeled after us and do what we do?
