Take a look behind the scenes of research and find out how innovative materials are developed and tested to prevent infections in implants.

Artificial joints, dental implants and other medical implants improve the quality of life for many people. However, infections affecting implants can cause serious complications and require extensive treatment. That is why we are developing novel antimicrobial biomaterials that prevent microorganisms from adhering to the implants, thereby preventing infections.

Find out how researchers from various disciplines are working together on innovative solutions, what challenges they face and what progress has already been made.
