AVATAR Transfer: Making Data Securely Usable

Visitors can explore the virtual AVATAR world (Open Science Lab) and learn about the project and the participating partners. Through interactive activities in the virtual environment, visitors can learn about various approaches to anonymization and their potential applications.

On site, scientists will explain, among other things, the AVATAR use case “Diagnosis of Infectious Diseases” and describe how DNA sequencing works and why anonymization plays an important role in that context as well.

In addition, visitors can participate in a survey on sharing health data and donating data, and speak with the project partners.
