In this interactive short presentation, we’ll discuss the feelings children and teens have about climate change and how to effectively deal with those feelings.

Most people have long been aware of climate change. The younger generation, in particular, is very conscious of the threat it poses. This can lead to a wide range of emotions: fear, anger, hopelessness, and sadness are just a few of the most common feelings, which are also referred to as “climate emotions.”

But what do we do with all these feelings? Is getting involved in climate action the solution? Or is it better to distract ourselves and not think about it so much? This talk will explore various ways to cope with climate emotions and explain their respective effects.
In addition to the short presentation, the event will include interactive elements so that participants have the opportunity to share their own experiences.
The target audience is primarily young people (children, teenagers, and young adults), but anyone interested is welcome to attend!
