A cold nose and warm hands? Jenoptik’s thermal imaging camera reveals all.
Thermographic cameras measure how temperatures are distributed across surfaces in the infrared spectrum. With crystal-clear images, such a camera can detect energy leaks and overheating in production processes. In the event of a fire, too, the fire service and emergency services can maintain a clear overview at all times using portable thermal imaging cameras: even in complete darkness and thick smoke, infrared technology still provides clear images of the scene, thereby enabling them to orientate themselves and locate hidden pockets of embers. Visualising infrared cameras also assist in the search for missing persons. The aim is to produce an image with as high a contrast as possible in order to clearly identify structures.
Our EVIDIR range of infrared (IR) cameras is characterised by the highest infrared (IR) image quality in the smallest possible space; these cameras are available both as thermographic cameras and as visualising IR cameras. They can be integrated into drones, body cameras or helmet-mounted cameras.
How cold is the tip of your nose during the Long Night of Science? Our technology will reveal it! Make the most of these extraordinary photo opportunities and take your own thermographic image!
