Thermographic cameras measure how temperatures are distributed across surfaces in the infrared spectrum. With razor-sharp images, these cameras detect energy leaks and overheating in production processes. In the event of a fire, firefighters and emergency responders can also maintain a clear overview at all times using mobile thermal imaging cameras: Even in complete darkness and thick smoke, infrared technology still provides clear images of the scene, enabling them to navigate and locate hidden pockets of embers. Visual infrared cameras also assist in the search for missing persons. The goal is to produce an image with as much contrast as possible to clearly identify structures. Our EVIDIR infrared camera product family is distinguished by its superior infrared (IR) image quality in a compact design; these cameras are available both as thermographic cameras and as visualizing IR cameras. They can be integrated into drones, body cameras, or helmet-mounted cameras.
