Electronics—how are they manufactured, and how do I know they're working properly?

Electronic devices are everywhere and constantly shape our lives. Their most important components are printed circuit boards (PCBs) containing small or large components and semiconductor chips that perform the desired functions. But how do all these components end up on the circuit board, and who solder them in place? And how is it even verified that everything works properly? This presentation will use practical examples to demonstrate how this manufacturing process works and how we end up with a device that performs the desired function.
