Chemistry is so much more than just formulas and chemical equations. In our “Experience Chemistry” program, we invite children, teens, and adults to discover and explore the world of chemistry for themselves.
At various stations, participants can experiment, solve puzzles, and try things out. A special highlight is our chemistry escape game: Only those who observe closely, make connections, and correctly interpret scientific clues will get closer to the solution.
At the same time, we provide insights into the training of future chemistry teachers at the University of Jena and demonstrate how modern chemistry education is structured today: experimental, student-centered, and with plenty of room for independent discovery.
Whether you’re a family, a student, or a prospective student—everyone is invited to get to know chemistry from a different perspective and experience it for themselves!
