Lecture on the ancient Iranian texts of the religious founder Zarathustra and research into them, featuring a recitation of original texts

In a fascinating lecture, the speaker explains what is known about Zarathustra, the founder of the religion, and how philologists and linguists approach the surviving Old Iranian (Avestan) texts. Selected passages from Zarathustra’s Gāthās will be recited in the original, allowing the audience to directly experience the mystical beauty of the Avestan language.
