How does professional bonding work?
Adhesives are still very much in use today and are frequently employed in industry. At the ifw Jena, we work with various adhesives and investigate how a wide range of materials – such as glass, metal and ceramics – can best be bonded together. Together with our scientists, you can come and try out for yourselves just what can be stuck together.
Once you’ve cut out the individual wooden parts using the laser beam, you’ll stick them together with the right adhesive to make little toys. Of course, you can take your adhesive research projects home with you afterwards.
