Introducing the ZEISS Archive

The ZEISS Archive holds original documents, files, photographs, patents, utility models, printed matter, technical documentation and equipment spanning more than 170 years of history.

Our services include, amongst other things, responding to enquiries about equipment, people and events, reproducing photographs relating to the history of Carl Zeiss, and producing copies of advertising materials, instruction manuals and other printed matter. In addition, we handle the loan of vintage equipment to museums and exhibitions.
Of course, we also carry out our own research in the archive for research and publication projects.
