With Jena-Optronik, on our way to the Moon, Mars and beyond
We’ll show you the fascinating missions we’re involved in and why a ‘day without space travel’ is no longer possible today. You’ll gain an insight into how technology from Jena is helping to improve our everyday lives on Earth and protect our home planet.
Join us as we use our star sensors to take a live look into space and experience a real-time simulation of a docking manoeuvre with the ISS.
Our colleagues will also be talking about our collaboration with international partners such as NASA, ESA and others.
There’ll be plenty more to keep you entertained, including hands-on experiment stations, a space photo booth and cocktails at the ‘Space Bar’.
- Focus on the Moon: We’ll be offering insights into NASA’s Artemis mission and our sensors for the Orion spacecraft!
- Space up close: here’s what’s in store for you!
We’re putting Göschwitz in the spotlight
If you visit at least 6 of the 14 participating institutes and companies, and collect a stamp from each one, you’ll receive a little surprise at the end of your discovery tour – including here with us, of course!
Please note the following regarding the stamp rally in Göschwitz:
- Participation is voluntary and free of charge.
- The little surprise is only available on 20 November upon presentation of your stamp card (whilst stocks last).
- No cash alternative is available.
