How do bones, cartilage, and muscles enable movement? Explore the musculoskeletal system: stain specimens, test your knowledge, and learn about modern implants—exciting for all age groups

Bones, cartilage, ligaments, tendons, and muscles make up the musculoskeletal system, which provides the body with stability and enables movement.
We offer hands-on activities on the topic of the musculoskeletal system for all ages: Histology—A Splendor of Colors in the Microcosm. What do bones, cartilage, and tendons look like under a microscope? Find out! Wafer-thin slides will be stained in vibrant colors—by you! You’ll also have the chance to test your knowledge of anatomy and bone health. In addition, we’ll showcase implants used in modern surgery to stabilize fractures and as joint replacements.
