A panel discussion with audience participation, as well as a photo exhibition titled "edge residents" ("Randbewohner") by Rifaat Zuraiq

Migration is a fundamental part of our society. Migration brings to light border regimes, global and local power and dominance structures, and social vulnerabilities. At the same time, migration opens up spaces for alliances based on solidarity, empowerment, multiple affiliations, and new forms of social coexistence.

Panel discussion participants:

Elisa Calzolari, Executive Director of MigraNetz Thüringen
Susann Detko, M.A. in Social Work, JLU Giessen/EAH Jena
Josina Monteiro, DBSH Thuringia State Executive Board (invited)
Rifaat Zuraiq, Photographer

Moderator:

Prof. Dr. Anna Kasten, Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences, Jena

The photo exhibition is located in Building 5, third floor.
