What happens when proteins lose their natural structure and aggregate? And what role do molecular chaperones play in this process?
In our protein and nematode laboratory, we demonstrate how these processes are linked to ageing and why research into cellular protein quality control is important for gaining a better understanding of the mechanisms underlying age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
In small groups of five, we’ll show you how we analyse proteins and evaluate biological data.
Curious? Then come along on a journey of discovery!
