Racism, radicalisation, right-wing terrorism: 15 years since the ‘NSU’ came to public attention

Fifteen years after the so-called ‘self-exposure’ of the so-called ‘National Socialist Underground’, this lecture provides an academic analysis of the circumstances surrounding the emergence of the NSU complex, its continuities and its social consequences. In doing so, the lecture explores what lessons can be learnt to this day for democracy, security agencies, civil society and academia – in Jena and beyond.
