How do doctors identify tumour margins? Why do middle ear infections occur? And how do modern technologies help us to better understand diseases?

At our interactive stations, you can get hands-on: feel hidden tumour models, examine tissue samples under a microscope, discover the possibilities of modern imaging, and learn about the role bacteria play in middle ear infections. Have fun learning about the challenges of medical diagnostics and discover how research is opening up new avenues for more precise treatment.
There’s a small task at each station – anyone who completes them all will receive a research certificate and a little surprise at the end.

Further information can be found on the website of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology.
