Are all hearts the same? Not at all! Because women’s and men’s hearts differ from one another in more ways than just their anatomy.

These gender-specific differences extend both to the development of the heart throughout a person’s life and to the entire course of any heart disease – from risk factors, through symptoms and diagnosis, to treatment.
