Since the Mars rover “Perseverance” safely landed in February 2021, we’ve been receiving countless images from this current NASA mission. These images are also captured using lenses from Jenoptik! At the Jenoptik facility in Jupiter, Florida, our engineers developed, assembled, and tested three different types of exceptional, state-of-the-art lenses for this NASA Mars mission. The lenses are now contributing to “Perseverance’s” success by helping the rover navigate, avoid hazards, and collect samples.
Take this opportunity in Jena-Göschwitz to see a miniature version of the Mars rover and learn more about the Mars mission and our optical expertise.
