2024 in Review
The Beginnings
The Long Night of Science has been taking place in Jena since 2005. Since then, every two years (with a few exceptions), numerous scientific institutions and research centers, companies, and hospitals have opened their doors for one long evening to show guests what is usually hidden from view—all in a diverse and accessible way. This makes science come alive, exciting, and interesting. It’s no wonder this event is so popular, not just here in Jena.
