Women’s Health Trail | STATION 3: Acid makes you happy

Did you know that lactic acid bacteria play a crucial role in protecting the vagina and the womb? At our stand, visitors can discover in a fun and interactive way why the vagina is acidic and how the vaginal microbiome works – with microscopy demonstrations to watch, a pH test to try out for themselves, and the chance to look for cells under the microscope. In this way, young and old alike can learn in a vivid way how tiny bacteria make a huge contribution to women’s health.
