It is a taboo subject that causes a great deal of distress: an estimated five million women in Germany suffer from urinary incontinence, involuntary urine leakage, prolapse or bowel problems due to pelvic floor weakness. It mostly affects older women, although the causes often originate at a younger age.
Our experts at the Pelvic Floor Centre clearly explain how the pelvic floor works and why it is so important for continence and well-being. Find out about our urogynaecological services and consultation hours.
Join us live: practical pelvic floor exercises to try for yourself – simple exercises for everyday life.
