Through a series of talks and at ten information points, our Department of Women’s Health presents the latest topics in gynaecology, obstetrics and reproductive medicine.

The walk-through model of the uterus brings anatomy to life – complemented by short, accessible talks on all aspects of gynaecology: from cervical, endometrial and ovarian cancer, through a historical perspective on menstrual blood, to facts about the vaginal microbiome.
The talks (10 minutes each) will take place in two sessions between 6.00 pm and midnight, with breaks for questions directly at the model.

6.00 pm and 9.00 pm: Cervical cancer

6.30 pm and 9.30 pm: Endometrial cancer

7.00 pm and 10.00 pm: Ovarian cancer

7.30 pm and 10.30 pm: A historical perspective on menstrual blood

8.00 pm and 11.00 pm: Why is the vagina acidic? – Facts about the vaginal microbiome
