In 1846, Carl Wilhelm Goettling founded the Archaeological Museum at the University of Jena. Donations and acquisitions have caused the collection to grow significantly over the decades. An anniversary exhibition traces its 180-year history through a selection of donated items.

The exhibition "Images & Building Blocks" focuses on birds and insects. Through his documentary nature photography, Hubert Mahr aims to highlight the fascinating diversity of local habitats and draw attention to details that are often overlooked.

In addition to presentations on the Moon and exciting live demonstrations of our products, there will be drinks available at the Space Bar.
